To celebrate the beginning of summer, we took Dylan on a walk (now that he is a pro at walking) in the woods for the first time.
He could not make up his mind about what this new world of textures means to him. The mixture of leaves, rocks, twigs, dirt, and wild grass were just a bit overwhelming at first.
Before long, he gathered enough courage to start exploring on his own…
And he LOVED IT! We could barely keep up with him.
It was inspiring to lay down on the knee high grass and let the sun bathe us with his last warm rays of a summer day.
